Wash sabudana and drain them.
Soak them in water for 2 hours. They will absorb almost all water and their size will increase.
In a heavy bottomed pan heat milk over medium flame. When milk comes to boil add soaked sabudana.
Add sugar and stir well until it dissolves completely.
Cook them for 15 minutes or until they turn transparent and soft. Make sure to stir continuously.
Add Chopped dry fruits, cardamom powder and saffron milk. give it a nice stir.
Stir continuously and cook until milk turns thick. It will take approx 5-7 minutes.
Transfer kheer in a bowl garnish with some dry fruits and saffron strands. Serve it the way you like it- hot or chilled. Enjoy ☺
Note📋= When kheer cools down it will become thick. If you want to serve it chilled, then add 1/2 cup milk and mix well before serving.
